Walter Siara

Walter Siara (born April 8, 1899 in Ratibor ; † June 18, 1959 ) was a Hessian politician ( CDU ) and former member of the Hessian state parliament .

education and profession

Walter Siara did an apprenticeship as a machinist and draftsman after attending elementary school and commercial training school. In the First World War he did military service. From 1920 he was a full-time member of the Christian Metalworkers' Association , first in Kattowitz , then in Hindenburg and held numerous honorary positions in socio-political committees. When the National Socialists " seized power " , he was unable to continue his trade union work and was a sales representative from 1934 to 1939, a commercial employee from 1939 and later a department head.

politics

Walter Siara had been a city councilor in Hindenburg from 1927 and there from 1929 to 1933 city councilor. In 1933 he was removed from office. From February 24, 1948 to September 7, 1949 he was a member of the Economic Council of the United Economic Area , from December 1, 1946 (as a replacement for August-Martin Euler ) to February 12, 1948 of the Hessian state parliament.
