Wilhelm Florentin Lauter (born February 11, 1821 in Lörrach ; † April 11, 1892 in Karlsruhe ) was Lord Mayor of Karlsruhe.

Life

Lauter studied at the University of Heidelberg the tray cameralistics and worked in 1845 as a meadow Bautechniker in Hofdomänenkammer. From 1848 he worked as a meadow master builder in the civil service. From 1857 he was officially on leave to concentrate on his activities in tobacco growing. He also acted as a representative of the Berlin Discount Society . Therefore, he finally resigned from civil service in 1863. From June 30, 1870 to April 11, 1892 he was Lord Mayor of Karlsruhe and from 1873 to 1874 a member of the Baden Estates Assembly .
