Wilhelm Gauger (born October 26, 1860 in Oberderdingen , Oberamt Maulbronn; † April 13, 1947 in Tübingen ) was a Württemberg Oberamtmann.

life and work

Wilhelm Gauger was the son of a teacher. He studied law in Tübingen . After taking the higher administrative service exams in 1884 and 1885, he began his professional career as a clerk at the Oberamt Neresheim and the Oberamt Göppingen . From 1894 he was a collegiate assistant in the government of the Neckar district in Ludwigsburg and in the ministerial department for building construction. After brief assignments as a clerk in Brackenheim and Aalen, he took up his first position in 1897 as senior bailiff and board member at Maulbronn . In 1905 he was transferred to the Oberamt Kirchheim as head of the office . In 1928 he retired.
