Wilhelm Greb

Friedrich Wilhelm Greb (born February 13, 1898 in Frankfurt am Main ; † February 8, 1947 in Mainz-Weisenau ) was a Hessian politician ( CSVD ) and a former member of the state parliament of the People's State of Hesse in the Weimar Republic .

family

Wilhelm Greb, who was of Protestant denomination, was the son of the teacher August Greb and his wife Katharina, née Steinmetz. He married Luise, née Binz , on May 19, 1923 in Nieder-Saulheim .

education and profession

After completing his studies, Wilhelm Greb worked as a teacher in Mainz , Königstädten and Nauheim from 1920 to 1939 . From 1940 to 1944 he was chief paymaster of the army administration, where he was dismissed on May 5, 1944 due to illness. Then he was again a teacher in Mainz and Undenheim .

politics

Wilhelm Greb was the only member of the CSVD in the state parliament from 1931 to 1932. 1929–1932 he was chairman of the Hessen-Darmstadt regional association of the CSVD.
