Wilhelm J. Krefting
Wilhelm J. Krefting ( pseudonym ) (born July 13, 1981 in Münster ; real name Wilhelm Josef Krechting ) is a German writer .
Life
Krefting studied political science , English and German at the Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität Münster from 2002 to 2007 and completed the course with a Magister Artium (MA). In 2008 he studied journalism at La Trobe University in Melbourne, which was completed with a Graduate Certificate in Journalism.
During his studies he worked as a freelance journalist for Bild-Zeitung , Westfälische Nachrichten , Die Welt , Hamburger Abendblatt and the Australian Business Spectator. He also completed an internship in the German Bundestag .
From 2009 to 2011 Krefting worked as a trainee at the Rheinische Post media group until he started as press spokesman for the software manufacturer shopware AG in his home town of Schöppingen .
His fifth novel Aschekinder could only be pushed from the top of the Tolino e-book charts after three months by a book by Joanne K. Rowling .
In March 2018, Krefting took part in the Leipzig Book Fair and held readings and book signings there.
