Wilhelm Josten (District Administrator)
Wilhelm ( Willy ) Abraham Josten (born June 29, 1879 in Elberfeld , † December 30, 1932 in Ludwigsfeld near Munich ) was a Prussian administrative lawyer and district administrator in the Simmern district (1920-1923 / 24).
Life
Josten studied law and began his professional career in 1902 as a court trainee, from 1909 as a government assessor and assistant at the district administrator in Hagen . From 1911 to 1912 he worked as an information provider for banks and in industry. From 1912 he worked as a consultant in Schleswig . From 1916 as a government councilor, from 1918 he was employed by the Upper President in Schleswig-Holstein. In 1920 Josten was appointed district administrator in the Simmern district. Josten was expelled by the French occupation authorities in 1923. From 1931 Josten was active as a senior government councilor in Cologne until he died in a hunt at the end of 1932.
From 1920 to 1922 Josten was a member of the Provincial Parliament (MdProvLT).
