Wilhelm Karl Königswarter (born March 4, 1809 in Fürth ; † May 15, 1887 in Meran ) was a German founder and an honorary citizen of Fürth .

Life

Wilhelm Karl Königswarter, member of the sex of the Königswarters , founded after the death of his father, Fürth banker Simon Königswarter , in memory of his parents different foundations ; initially on July 28, 1855 the Simon-Königswarter-Foundation and on January 23, 1856 the Elisabeth-Königswarter-Foundation . The Königswarter Foundation supported, among other things, the construction of the Merano synagogue .
