Wilhelm Loschelder

Wilhelm Loschelder (born January 22, 1900 in Neuss ; † March 17, 1989 in Düsseldorf ) was a German lawyer and administrative officer .

Life

Loschelder did military service until 1918. After graduating from the humanistic grammar school in Neuss, he began studying law, which he completed in 1922 with the second state examination in law. He entered the Prussian judicial service as a judicial assessor, then switched to the administrative service and had been a government trainee since 1923. After receiving his doctorate in 1926, he became a government assessor in 1927. As such, he worked in the Prussian Ministry of the Interior from 1928. In 1934 he switched to the Reich Service and worked in the Reich Ministry of the Interior until 1945 , where he was most recently in Department IV (Municipal Department), Head of Sub-Department I (Constitution and tasks of the municipalities and municipal associations). In 1930 he was appointed government councilor, 1933 senior government councilor, 1936 ministerial councilor and 1941 ministerial director.

Loschelder was first alderman of the German Association of Cities from 1946 to 1952 . From 1952 to 1962 he was head of department in the Ministry of the Interior of North Rhine-Westphalia , initially as a ministerial director, from 1953 to 1962 as state secretary .

Since 1918 he was a member of the Catholic student association KDStV Staufia Bonn .
