Wilhelm Seipel (politician, 1898)

Wilhelm Seipel (born October 23, 1898 in Leeheim ; † May 21, 1968 ) was a Hessian politician ( FDP ) and a former member of the Hessian state parliament .

Live and act

Wilhelm Seipel, son of the farmer Daniel Seipel, attended secondary school and, after graduating from high school, studied law, economics and history. After completing his studies with a degree in economics, he worked as a senior civil servant in the labor administration from 1928 to 1945.

In 1929 he received his doctorate in political science and economics from the Justus Liebig University in Giessen .

Seipel became a member of the NSDAP on April 1, 1932 ( membership number 1,119,873).

Seipel was head of employment offices, department head of a state employment office and, most recently, president of the Gau employment office and Reich trustee of the Main-Franconian work in Würzburg . After 1945 he worked as a freelancer.

Wilhelm Seipel was district chairman of the FDP in the Groß-Gerau district and from January 26, 1951 (replacing August-Martin Euler ) to August 4, 1954, a member of the Hessian state parliament.
