Wilhelm Vierling

Wilhelm Vierling (born March 3, 1885 in Weiden in the Upper Palatinate ; † September 13, 1974 there ) was a German sculptor and painter . As a student at the Munich Academy, he studied with Martin von Feuerstein, among others. He was a fellow student of the painter Leo Götz , who also came from Weiden and whose sister Therese Götz he married in 1911.

His most important works included:

The interior design of the Church of St. Josef in collaboration with Franz Hofstötter, St. Sebastian in Weiden and the Crucifixus above the choir of the St. Marien Church in Hof .
