Wilhelm Werrlein

Wilhelm Werrlein (born May 19, 1878 in Freiburg im Breisgau ; † June 4, 1956 in Wolfach ) was a German lawyer and politician ( BCSV , CDU ).

Life

After graduating from high school, Werrlein first did military service and then began studying law at the Albert Ludwig University of Freiburg , which he completed in 1903 with the first state examination in law. Following his legal clerkship, he passed the second state examination in law in 1907. He then practiced as a lawyer in Triberg in the Black Forest . From 1914 to 1918 he took part in the First World War as a soldier , most recently as a lieutenant in the reserve. Since 1919 he worked as a lawyer in Wolfach. After the National Socialists came to power in 1934, he was taken into “ protective custody ”.

After the Second World War , Werrlein joined the BCSV, which later became the Baden regional association of the CDU. Between November 1946 and May 1947 he was a member of the Advisory State Assembly of the State of Baden .
