Wilhelm Wiedasch

Wilhelm Friedrich Ernst Wiedasch (born August 2, 1821 in Wetzlar ; † April 23, 1900 in Hanover ) was a German high school teacher and headmaster.

Life

Wilhelm Wiedasch was born in 1821 as the son of Ernst Wilhelm Wiedasch . After attending school in Wetzlar and in Ilfeld at the local pedagogy , he studied philology and history at the University of Marburg and the University of Göttingen from 1838 to 1843 , before working as a collaborator at the Royal Monastery School in Ilfeld from Michaelis 1844 to Michaelis 1848 .

From 1848 to 1857 Wiedasch then worked in Aurich as a teacher at the local grammar school and from there followed the call to Hanover in the royal seat of the Kingdom of Hanover as a teacher at Lyceum I at Easter 1857 . One of his students there was the later local politician Franz Adickes , to whom Wiedasch devoted himself most of the time and whom he taught for several years in the subjects of German and above all in history.

At Easter 1863, Wiedasch was promoted to vice rector . After the annexation of Hanover by Prussia , Wilhelm Wiedasch was appointed professor from now on May 29, 1869.

Also in Hannover , than at the beginning of the founding years of the German Empire , the Division B was converted the Hanover Lyceum at Easter 1871 in an independent institution, Wilhelm Wiedasch was appointed the first director of the institution at which he held until his retirement from Michaelis 1888 as headmaster with the title Prof. Dr. of the municipal high school Lyceum II at Kleverthor , which was Lutheran .
