Wilhelm von Borries (District Administrator)
Wilhelm Eduard Philipp Graf von Borries (born October 11, 1836 in Harsefeld , † August 27, 1913 in Stade ) was a German administrative officer and manor owner.
Life
The son of the politician and manorial estate owner Wilhelm von Borries and Artemise, b. von Lütcken (1813–1872), studied law at the Ruprecht-Karls-Universität Heidelberg . In 1857 he became a member of the Corps Vandalia Heidelberg . As a result he entered the Prussian civil service and became governor in Marienburg. From 1885 to 1903 he was District Administrator of the district Marienburg .
After the death of his father in 1883 Borries became entrant master of the Horneburg heirloom .
