Wilhelm von Brandenstein

Wilhelm von Brandenstein (born August 22, 1819 in Berlin , † August 9, 1894 in Naumburg ) was a German judge and parliamentarian.

origin

His parents were the Prussian Lieutenant General Friedrich von Brandenstein (1786-1857) and his wife Julie, born von Zychlinski (1798-1871).

Life

Brandenstein studied at the Friedrich-Wilhelms-University of Berlin law . In 1838 he became a member and later an honorary member of the Corps Marchia Berlin . After completing his studies, he pursued a career as a judge. Most recently he was President of the Naumburg Higher Regional Court with the title of Excellence .

From 1891 until his death in 1894 Brandenstein belonged to the Prussian manor house .

He married Thekla von Stoesser (1821-1874) on October 8, 1848, a daughter of Lieutenant General Eduard von Stoesser .
