Wilhelm of Lympius

Julius Wilhelm Otto von Lympius (born September 25, 1870 in Magdeburg , † April 29, 1934 in Berlin-Nikolassee ) was a German administrative officer and judge .

Life

Wilhelm von Lympius studied law at the Georg-August University in Göttingen . In 1889 he became a member of the Corps Saxonia Göttingen . In 1891 he passed the court trainee exam. After completing his legal traineeship, he entered the Prussian civil service in 1894 as a government trainee. In 1897 he passed the government assessor exam and came to the Sorau District Office as an unskilled worker. In 1900 he moved to the Upper Presidium of the Province of Saxony .

From 1904 to 1917 the Protestant von Lympius was district administrator of the predominantly Catholic district of Lingen . In 1917 he moved to the district of Görlitz as district administrator . As a district administrator, he made a name for himself by working for road construction and the establishment of a district savings bank. At the end of 1924 he was appointed to the Prussian Higher Administrative Court in Berlin-Charlottenburg as a senior administrative judge.

On June 12, 1906, he married Yelka Ilsabe Anna Dorothea von Arnim in Frankfurt (Oder) (born February 3, 1888 in Ludwigslust; † May 21, 1964 in Gütersloh).
