Wilhelm von der Nahmer (born September 16, 1858 in Friedrich-Wilhelms-Hütte near Troisdorf , † August 29, 1938 in Düsseldorf ) was a German engineer and businessman.

Wilhelm von der Nahmer was the son of Alexander von der Nahmer (1832–1888) and began studying engineering after graduating from high school. After an internship, he took over the management of the turning department at Bergischen-Stahl-Industrie-AG . 1885-1888 he assisted his father in the construction and management of the Alexander station and then took over sole leadership. The following year he married Lydia Korff (1868–1945). When the company was converted into a GmbH in 1896, Wilhelm, his brother Adolf von der Nahmer (1866–1939) and Karl B. Luckhaus became managing directors with equal rights.

In 1909 Wilhelm left the company for health reasons, which was converted into a stock corporation in 1899 , and Adolf became general director. Wilhelm von der Nahmer also resigned his mandate as city ​​councilor , which he had held since 1904, and other honorary posts. He retired to Düsseldorf as a magazine publisher.
