Will Randall

Will Randall (* 1966 in Hanover ) is an English writer.

Life

Will Randall comes from a family of actors and is related to Ralph and Joseph Fiennes . He was born near Hanover, but the family moved back to England a short time later. After graduating, he worked as a school teacher in Marseille , Somerset , Devon , London , Pune and Kasane, Botswana .

His books are humorous travelogues with a development aid aspect. His first book, Solomon Time - Adventure in the South Pacific , which was nominated for the 2003 WH Smith Travel Book of the Year Award, deals with his time in the Solomon Islands , where he helped set up a chicken farm. His second book, Indian Summer - A Good Man in Asia tells of his time as an actor and school theater director in Pune, India. His third book, Botswana Time , gives an insight into his time as a primary school football coach in Kasane, Botswana. His fourth book, Another Long Day on the Piste - A Season in the French Alps , is about his vacation time in the French Alps. Randall's books are comparable in humor, albeit more seriously, to Tony Hawks' travel books .
