Will You Be There is a song by the German synthpop band Celebrate the Nun , which was released as a single in 1989 and on their debut album Meanwhile in 1990 . It was the band's biggest hit, with the song reaching number 5 on the Billboard Dance chart in the US in the week of June 23, 1990.
CD production
The different versions of the track were recorded and mixed in the summer of 1989 in the ArtLab Studios in Frankfurt am Main on behalf of the 1991 Westside Music label by its Executive Producer Achim Völker and the Chief Sound Engineer Peter Siedlaczek . Even before the album Meanwhile was released, the maxi CD was released in autumn 1989 in various versions and formats, including a mini CD . The photos used for the CD cover come from Michael W. Frank, the design from Jürgen Höber.
criticism
magaScene Hanover had negative criticism in its section of the Hanoverian record releases: “The second single from the pop dance band Celebrate The Nun disappoints me a little. The sound is good, the composition is basically ok (which you can clearly see on the additional a cappella track on the maxi). But that certain something seems to have gone into production !? And so nothing sustainable gets stuck in the ear. Except for the memory that it sounded nice ... "
