Willehad Paul Eckert

Willehad Paul Eckert OP (born January 21, 1926 in Cologne , † January 18, 2005 in Düsseldorf ) was a German Roman Catholic priest and theologian .

Life

After graduating from high school in 1944 and doing brief military service, he studied German in Cologne. On August 5, 1945 he was dressed in Walberberg and was given the name Willehad Maria . After the novitiate and studies in Walberberg, he was sent to Munich for a doctorate . From 1956 until the closure of the university in 1974, he taught as a lecturer in the history of philosophy at the Order University in Walberberg. A number of important publications were made during this period. From 1977 he was a lecturer in church history at the University of Cologne . From 1984 he lived in the Düsseldorf Convention.
