Willem Reichsfreiherr von Ripperda (* 1600 ; † 1669 in Hengelo ), Lord of Hengelo, Boculo , Boxbergen , Rijssenberg and Solmsburg was a member of the well-known ancient noble family von Ripperda and envoy of the Dutch States General at the peace negotiations for the Peace of Westphalia .

In 1623 Ripperda gave up his military career in favor of politics. From 1631 he was a member of the provincial assembly of Overijssel and represented the knighthood in the States General of the Netherlands. He was a loyal supporter of the Prince of Orange and was appointed envoy to the peace negotiations to end the Eighty Years' War in Münster and Osnabrück in 1644 , to which he went to Münster in January 1646.

He was married to Alida van Buckhorst.
