William Douglas de Amorim (born December 15, 1991 in Votorantim ) is a Brazilian soccer player . The striker has been under contract with FCSB Bucharest ( Steaua Bucharest until the end of March 2017 ) since August 2016 .

Career

William Amorim came to Astra Giurgiu in Romania in the summer of 2010 at the age of 18 . There he was first used in the reserve team in League II . On May 13, 2011 he came to his first appearance in the first team in League 1 . Since the second half of the 2011/12 season he has developed into a regular, but - although a striker - only scores a few goals. The 2013/14 season he could with his team as runner-up behind Steaua Bucharest to complete and then won the Romanian Cup . In 2016 he was able to win the Romanian championship for the first time with Astra . In August 2016 he left the club and joined Steaua Bucharest ( FCSB Bucharest from April 2017 ).
