William Boaventura (born February 14, 1985 in Ipatinga , Brazil ) is a former Brazilian soccer player.

Career

William began his career in 2002 with the AD Cabofriense club . In the summer of 2004 he was transferred to the AEL Limassol association in Cyprus because of his good performance . After two years he moved to the Anorthosis Famagusta club , where he was again under contract for two years. There he won the Cypriot Football Cup in the 2006/07 season , the Cypriot Football Supercup in 2007 and, most recently, the First Division in the 2007/08 season . After four years he left Cyprus and got a contract in Ukraine . There he was for the end of the 2007/08, 2008/09 and 2010 season with the Ukrainian club Metalurh Donetsk under contract. In 2009 he was loaned to the FK Kuban Krasnodar club.

In 2010 he moved to the club APOEL Nicosia , for which he played for three years. There he won the First Division for the second time and also the Cypriot Football Supercup for the second time. On July 6, 2002, he returned to the Anorthosis Famagusta club, but had to end his career in September because he had a heart problem.
