William Percy Grosvenor (born July 18, 1869 in London , † June 5, 1948 in Hickling ) was a British marksman .
successes
William Grosvenor participated in three Olympic Games in the trap part. In 1912 he did not get past twelfth place in the individual in Stockholm , but won the silver medal with the team. The British kept the German team one point at a distance with 511 points, finishing second behind the US team (532 points). Grosvenor was the team's second best shooter with 89 points, which also included Alexander Maunder , George Whitaker , Harold Humby , Charles Palmer and John Butt . In 1920 in Antwerp he missed another medal win with the team in fourth place, four years later he was eighth with the team in Paris .
