William L. Rice
William L. Rice (born October 17, 1931 in Vermont , † January 23, 2006 in New York ) was an American actor , production manager and assistant director .
Rice made short films as a writer and director in the 1950s and 1960s . Between 1980 and 2003 he worked as an actor. He often took on other functions in film productions. He was, for example, in the film Fatal Instinct of John Dirlam with Michael Madsen production manager. Rice worked almost exclusively on smaller independent productions. As a publisher, Rice worked with the well-known Gertrude Stein expert Ulla Dydo on: Gertrude Stein : The Language That Rises: 1923–1934 (2003), a study of the author's writing process.
