Willmeroth (Koenigswinter)

Willmeroth is a district of the city of Königswinter in the Rhein-Sieg district in North Rhine-Westphalia . It belongs to the Eudenbach district and the Berghausen district ; on December 31, 2019, it had 168 inhabitants.

Willmeroth is located three kilometers east of the center of Oberpleis and one kilometer northwest of Eudenbach on a hill on the northern edge of the Siegburg state forest . The surrounding places are Bennerscheid in the north, Eudenbach in the southeast and Berghausen in the west. Immediately south of Willmeroth is the Hühnerberg basalt quarry belonging to the Rheinische Provinzial-Basalt- u. Lavawerke GmbH. The closest major city is Bonn .

Coming from Eudenbach, Landesstraße 330 leads through the village , from which four other village streets and paths branch off, and which later joins Landesstraße 268 to Oberpleis.

Willmeroth lies between the Siebengebirge and the foothills of the Westerwald . The Dollenbach rises in the south of Willmeroth and flows into the Hanfbach near Hanfmühle .
