Willy comb
Willy Kamm (born November 3, 1945 - † May 26, 2016 in Mühlehorn GL) was a Swiss politician ( FDP ).
Kamm is a trained textile merchant and studied economics at the University of Zurich. He lives in Mühlehorn (municipality of Glarus Nord) in the canton of Glarus . He was elected to the Mühlehorn municipal council in 1976 ; from 1983 to 1996 he was mayor. From 2007 until the municipal merger in 2011, he held this office again.
From 1986 to 1996 he was in the district administrator of the Canton of Glarus. From 1996 to 2006 he was a member of the government council , as finance director and most recently as governor. When the executive was reduced from 7 to 5 seats in 2006, he achieved the absolute majority, but was eliminated as the surplus. He then headed the project of the large community merger of Glarus Nord.
