Wilhelm "Willy" Kreitz (born September 21, 1903 in Antwerp , † July 3, 1982 in Uccle ) was a Belgian ice hockey player and sculptor .

Career

Willy Kreitz participated for the Belgian national team in the Olympic Winter Games in St. Moritz in 1928 and in Garmisch-Partenkirchen in 1936 . With his team, he finished eighth of eleven places in 1928. He himself made three appearances during the tournament. At the 1936 Winter Games, he finished 13th and last place with his team and was used again in three games. At club level he played for CPA Antwerp.

At the 1936 Summer Olympics in Berlin , he took part in the art competitions.

On the occasion of the anniversary celebrations for one hundred years of Belgian ice hockey, he was named a member of the Belgian team of the century together with Björn Steijlen , Jef Lekens , Mike Pellegrims , Bob Moris senior and Bob Moris junior in November 2008 .
