The Wilson Peak is a 2,400 m high mountain in the West Antarctic Ellsworth Land . It rises on the eastern flank of the Nimitz Glacier and 24 km south-southeast of Mount Craddock at the southern end of the Sentinel Range of the Ellsworth Mountains .
The United States Geological Survey mapped it based on its own surveys and with the help of aerial photographs of the United States Navy between 1957 and 1959. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 1961 after JH Wilson, radio operator on board a Douglas DC-3 during an aerial reconnaissance flight over the Ellsworth Mountains in January 1958.
