Windell Dwain Middlebrooks (born January 8, 1979 in Fort Worth , Texas - † March 9, 2015 in Los Angeles , California ) was an American actor .

Life

Middlebrooks attended Sterling College in Sterling , Kansas . There he obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in communications and theater studies (Communications and Theater Arts) . At the University of California, Irvine , he completed his acting training, which he completed in 2005 with a master's degree in acting.

Since 2005 he worked as an actor. In his career he played mostly episode roles in well-known television series such as Hannah Montana or Emergency Room - Die Notaufnahme . He is best known for his supporting role as Kirby Morris in the series Zack & Cody on board , in which he starred from 2008 to 2011. In addition, he was in six episodes of the ninth season of the television series Scrubs from 2009 to 2010 as the head of the campus security service. From 2010 to 2013 he played as Dr. Curtis Brumfield one of the leading roles in all three seasons of the series Body of Proof .

In the United States , he was also through the commercial for the beer brand Miller High Life of Miller Brewing Company announced; he played a delivery driver in it.

On the morning of March 9, 2015, he was found unconscious at his home in the San Fernando Valley . After he was admitted to the hospital, only his death from a pulmonary embolism could be determined.
