The windmill in Blaignan , a district of the French commune Blaignan-Prignac in the Gironde department in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region , was built in 1747. In 1981, it was by a carpenter on the move for the owner, a vintner , renovated.

The windmill on a hill is one of originally seven windmills in the village. It was in operation until the revolution . Since the farmers at this time increasingly converted to viticulture , it was shut down.
