The Windpark Külz is a wind park in the area of the local communities Külz and Kümbdchen in the Hunsrück , Rhineland-Palatinate . The wind farm is located on the hill northeast of the village.
history
The project development of the wind farm by the FuturaGruppe from Koblenz began in 2005, the commissioning took place in 2007. In 2012 the wind farm was extended to the north and east by six Enercon E-82 systems. The wind farm is operated by the turbine manufacturer Enercon itself.
technology
For use four come wind turbines of the type Enercon E-70 E4 with a power of 2.0 MW, a rotor diameter of 71 meters and a hub height of 98 meters, as well as six Enercon E-82 plants. The electricity is fed into the high-voltage network via a substation in Simmern .
