The Neuerkirch wind farm is a wind farm located in the municipality of Neuerkirch in the Hunsrück , Rhineland-Palatinate . The park is located on the hill northeast of the village.
history
Project development for the wind farm began in May 2008, and an application was made in summer 2008. Approval was granted in summer 2011 and construction began immediately. All systems were fully commissioned at the beginning of February 2012. In autumn 2012, another plant of the type Repower 3.2M114 with an output of 3.2 MW and a rotor diameter of 114 meters south of the Enercon plants was approved. At the beginning of January 2013, construction of the wind turbine began. The wind farm was planned and built by the project developer juwi , the first five wheels were put into operation at the end of 2011, and Thüga Erneuerbare Energien GmbH & Co. KG acquired the wind farm at the same time, and the operations management remains with Juwi. The official opening of the wind farm took place on March 13, 2012.
technology
8 wind turbines of the type Enercon E-82 E2 with an output of 2.3 MW each, a rotor diameter of 82 meters and a hub height of 138 meters are used. This results in a total height of the systems of 179 meters. The electricity is fed into the high-voltage network via a substation in Kirchberg , which was built for the Kirchberg (Hunsrück) wind farm and to which another wind farm in the area will be connected.
