KG acquired the wind farm, and Juwi will continue to manage the company. The official opening of the wind farm took place on March 13, 2012.
technology
Used five come wind turbines of the type Vestas V90-2MW with a nominal power of 2 MW and two turbines of the type Repower MM92 , each with 2.05 MW. The hub height of the turbines is 105 or 100 meters, the rotor diameter is 90 or 92 meters. The electricity generated is fed into the high-voltage network via a substation in Kirchberg , which was built for the Kirchberg wind farm (Hunsrück) and to which another wind farm in the area will be connected.
