Blazon : “Shield with a curved, lowered black tip, inside a silver bell, split; on the right a black intertwined blindfold in gold, on the left a silver mill wheel in green over a slanted silver wavy bar. " | |
Reasons for the coat of arms: The three-part division in the coat of arms symbolizes the three old settlements of Göbenhausen, Tombach and Unzenberg. The blindfold is a symbol of the place of justice at the height of Itzelbach near Biebern , the mill wheel and the stream on the right are reminiscent of the six mills and the stream in the Kauerbachtal. The lower part shows the village bell hanging on a wooden bell tower in the middle of the village. |
