Coat of arms of Mörsdorf
Justification of the coat of arms: The notched bar cross with the tournament collar in the coat of arms indicates the family of the Beissel von Gymnich, who still owned the place in 1744. The palm is the attribute of the church patron, the holy castor.

The cross is a replica of the many stone crosses that are in the same shape in the place with the year 1750. The wall anchor is from the coat of arms of Metzenhausen. They were enfeoffed in 1493 by the Archbishop of Trier, verifiable as early as 1799.
