Winfried Blum
Winfried EH Blum (born June 15, 1941 in Freiburg im Breisgau ) is a German - Austrian soil biologist and forest scientist .
Life
Winfried EH Blum was a full professor at the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences (BOKU), Department for Forest and Soil Sciences, in Vienna from 1979 to 2009 . He is one of the world's leading representatives of scientific soil science and in the 1980s was one of the first to advocate the development of soil information systems.
Winfried EH Blum has held numerous international functions and has received academic awards and honorary doctorates.
