Wirts is a village and a cadastral municipality in the municipality of Waidhofen an der Ybbs in the Waidhofen an der Ybbs district in Lower Austria .
Settlement development
At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there were a total of 217 building areas with 67,339 m² and 160 gardens on 499,376 m² in the cadastral community Wirts, in 1989/1990 there were 209 building areas. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had grown to 421 and in 2009/2010 there were 274 buildings on 449 building areas.
Agriculture
The cadastral community is shaped by forestry. 953 hectares were used for agriculture at the turn of the year 1979/1980 and 1,835 hectares were forest areas. In 1999/2000 agriculture was carried out on 677 hectares and 2,122 hectares were designated as areas used for forestry. At the end of 2018, 634 hectares were used as agricultural land and forestry was carried out on 2,106 hectares. The average soil climate number from Wirts is 19.1 (as of 2010).
