Wisdom of the Crowd ( German about The Wisdom of the Many ) is an American television series. It was broadcast by the broadcaster CBS from October 1, 2017 and is based on an Israeli series of the same name by Shira Hadad and Dror Mishani. Towards the end of November 2017, the broadcasting station CBS decided not to order any further episodes beyond the 13 ordered. The reasons given were, in addition to low ratings, allegations of sexual misconduct against lead actor Jeremy Piven .
A German-language first broadcast should take place on the Sat.1 channel in the course of the first half of 2018. It was later announced that it would not be broadcast until autumn 2018 on the sister station Kabel Eins .
