Natalia Tena
Natalia "Nat" Gastiain Tena (born November 1, 1984 in London ) is a British actress and musician of Spanish origin .
Life
Natalia Tena's parents, Jesus Gastiain and Maria Tena, come from Spain and she was born in London. She adopted her mother's name as the official name. Natalia grew up in Petersfield , Hampshire , and attended Bedales School . Her mother tongue is Spanish and she is fluent in English .
In her spare time, Tena plays jukeboxes in various British clubs with her band Molotov . She would like to spend more time on this in the future and limit acting.
Career
Movie
In 2002, at the age of 18, Tena made her acting debut. She stood in front of the camera with Hugh Grant for directors Chris and Paul Weitz and played Ellie in the film About a Boy or: The Day of the Dead Duck . Further film roles followed. In 2005 she starred in the multi- Oscar nominated comedy Lady Henderson presented the revue dancer Peggy at the side of Judi Dench and Bob Hoskins .
Tena gained greater international fame through the role of auror Nymphadora Tonks , who she embodied for the first time in Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix in 2007 . From 2011 to 2016 she was seen as Osha in the award-winning fantasy series Game of Thrones .
In Germany , Tena is mainly dubbed by Kathrin Gaube . Uschi Hugo did this in the film About a Boy .

In addition to her work as a film actress, Tena also plays in the theater. In 2004 she made her stage debut in Gone to Earth at Bristol Old Vic . In the 2009 season she appeared in the classic by William Shakespeare as Othello's wife Desdemona .
Social Commitment
Tena has been supporting the human rights organization Survival International since January 2013 . She spoke an accompanying text in English and Spanish for one of her films about indigenous peoples in Colombia .
