The Wyschnja ( Вишня ; Polish Wisznia ) is a right tributary of the San , which rises in western Ukraine and flows into the San around 15 km southeast of Jarosław . The length of the river course is specified differently with 78 km to 100 km. Most of the river's course is in Ukraine, only the last, around 20 km long section in the Dolina dolnego Sanu microregion in the Subcarpathian Voivodeship in Poland .

The river has its source near Rudky in the Sambir district , forms a bifurcation in Nowosilky-Hostynni , part of which flows to the upper reaches of the Dniester , flows first to the northwest through Sudowa Vysnya and then in a northwest direction to the Polish border and finally through Poland until it is opposite the small town of Radymno flows into the San. The catchment area is given as 1220 km².
