Wita Stjopina ( Ukrainian Віта Стьопіна , actually Вікторія Іванівна Стьопіна , Wiktorija Iwaniwna Stjopina, English transcription Vita Styopina ; born February 21, 1976 ) is a Ukrainian high jumper .

At the 1999 World Athletics Championships in Seville, she finished seventh, and ninth at the 2003 World Championships in Paris .

Her greatest success so far was at the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens. There she won the bronze medal with her personal best of 2.02 m behind Jelena Slessarenko (RUS) and the South African Hestrie Cloete, who was at the same height .

At the World Championships in Helsinki in 2005 , she finished seventh, as well as at the European Championships in 2010 .
