Vitaly Sidorov
Vitaly Vitalievich Sidorov ( Russian Виталий Витальевич Сидоров ., English transcription Vitaliy Sidorov, Ukrainian Віталій Сидоров - Vitaly Sydorow - Vitaliy Sydorov * 23. March 1970 in Chitschauri , Adjara ) is a former discus thrower , which first for Ukraine and most recently Russia launched .
From 1995 to 1998 he was Ukrainian champion four times in a row. At the World Athletics Championships in Gothenburg in 1995 , he was eliminated from the qualification. At the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta he was seventh and at the 1997 World Cup in Athens tenth.
In 2000 he took on the Russian nationality and started for his new home at the Olympic Games in Sydney , but failed in the qualification.
