Wladimir Wladimirowitsch Wdowitschenkow ( Russian Владимир Владимирович Вдовиченков ; born August 13, 1971 in Gussew , Kaliningrad Oblast ) is a Russian film actor. In 2012 he received the "Honored Artist of the Russian Federation" award.

Life

Vladimir Vdovichenkov's father Vladimir Vdovichenkov (1943-1993) was a mechanic and his mother Svetlana Viktorovna Vdovichenkova, née Leonova, was an engineer. He also has two siblings. An older sister named Irina and a younger brother named Konstantin (* 1983), who is now a media entrepreneur.

After graduating from middle school in 1988, he went to the 42nd Naval School in Kronstadt , where he successfully completed his training in 1989. He served for four years in the Northern and Baltic Fleets . Vdowitschenkow then returned to Gusew and tried his hand at numerous professions, such as a heater in the sauna, vehicle mechanic and waiter. But none of that seemed right to him. At the age of 25 he made the decision to become an actor and went to Moscow to apply to the Gerasimov Institute for Cinematography . After his first acting experiences, some representatives of the film industry noticed him and he got small supporting roles in films like "The President and His Granddaughter" or "The Border". Wdowitschenkow achieved widespread fame with the series " Brigada ", which enjoyed great popularity at home and abroad.

Vladimir Vdowitschenkow has been married to his colleague Jelena Lyadowa (* 1980) for the fourth time since 2015. From his illegitimate relationship with Olga Filippowa (* 1977) he has a daughter (* 2005). Vdowitschenkow also has a son (* 1993) from his second marriage.
