Wladislav Grigoryev ( Russian Владислав Григорьев , English transcription Vladislav Grigoryev; born January 20, 1997 in Karagandy ) is a Kazakh sprinter .

Athletic career

Vladislav Grigoryev gained his first experience in international championships at the 2014 Youth Olympic Games in Nanjing , where he finished third in the C-final. In 2016 he finished seventh over 100 meters at the Junior Asian Championships in Ho Chi Minh City and was fifth in the 200-meter run in 21.37 s . He then took part in the U20 World Championships in Bydgoszcz , Poland, over this distance and was eliminated there with 21.08 s in the semi-finals. In 2017 he reached the semi-finals in the 100-meter run at the Asian Championships in Bhubaneswar and finished eighth in the final over 200 meters. He then took part in the Summer Universiade in Taipei and reached the semifinals over both distances. At the beginning of September he reached the semi-finals at the Asian Indoor & Martial Arts Games in Ashgabat over 60 meters and was eliminated there with 6.85 seconds. He also competed with the Kazakh 4 x 400 meter relay, but could not finish the heat there.

In 2018 he took part in the Asian Indoor Championships in Tehran and finished eighth in the final in 6.88 seconds over 60 meters. In the summer he reached the semi-finals at the Asian Games in Jakarta over 200 meters, in which he was eliminated with 21.42 s and also with the Kazakh relay he did not reach the final in 40.04 s.

In 2016, 2017 and 2018, Grigoryev became Kazakh champion outdoors over 200 meters, and from 2018 to 2020 also indoors. In the hall, he also won the title with the 4-by-200-meter relay of his club in 2018. In 2018, he also won the 100-meter title outdoors and the 4-by-100-meter relay. He is a student at the Economic University of Kazpotrebsoyuz in Karagandy.
