action

On a stormy night, the young doctor Dr. Anand on the way home. Suddenly a mysterious woman stands in the middle of the street. He takes her with him and, at her request, lets her get off at a cemetery. There she disappears.

After a few days, Anand forgets the mysterious incident and spends his free time with his girlfriend Seema. But one evening Seema is poisoned. The perpetrator's motive is unclear.

Now Anand's mother is finally urging her to get married and forget about Seema. At some point Anand decides to follow his mother's advice and marries the wife Sandhya arranged for him. Only on their wedding night does he look shockingly into the face of the woman he had once driven to the cemetery.

Since then, the mysterious cases have increased. Sometimes he sees Sandhya scurrying around the apartment and the next moment she is standing in front of the door with her mother-in-law. Soon Anand can't take it anymore and throws Sandhya out of the apartment. She is leaving by train when the news of the crashed train arrives the next day.

Despite her death, Anand continues to be haunted by Sandhya's ghost. Anand is about to go mad when the ghost lures him into a shabby mansion. There he also sees the living Sandhya.

It turns out that his childhood friend Ramesh has a hand in it. He's after Anand's legacy. Because Anand is only considered a legitimate heir if he does not have any mental disorders. With Sandhya's twin sister, who no one else knew about, Ramesh wanted to drive Anand insane and then reach the millions as the second heir. Before that happens, however, Ramesh and his accomplices are arrested.

Despite the often pitifully mismatched soundtrack and the fact that the tension is mainly suspended from the use of one and the same song, Naina Barse Rimjhim , the film is one of director Khosla's favorites.
