The house at Schwachhauser Heerstraße 55 , also called House Banck , is located in Bremen , district Schwachhausen , district Gete, Schwachhauser Heerstraße 55. The house was built in 1897 according to plans by Albert Dunkel . It has been a listed building in Bremen since 1984 .
history
The two-story, plastered house with basement , pitched roof , loggia and large bay window was built in 1897 in the era of historicism with rich facade decorations as a Bremen house for Julius Banck (1857-1918).
Today (2018) the house is used by apartments, offices and practices.
Next to it is the Schwachhauser Heerstraße 57 residential building designed by Dunkel .
The architect Dunkel in Schwachhausen u. a. the Wätjenhaus in the Bürgerpark and his Villa Dunkel .
Note: There is a House Banck from 1894 in Bremen-Mitte, district Ostertor, Kohlhökerstraße 20, also based on plans by Dunkel.
