history
In 1886 the cigar manufacturer August Kaden settled on Uferstraße 6 , who ran his August Kaden & Co cigar factory there and was also a member of the local council in the following years. In 1892 Kaden had a son, the later politician Felix Kaden .
In October 1904, the soap manufacturer E. Max Pietzsch , who had moved in from Striesen , had the older building fabric that he had acquired rebuilt, which was carried out by the local construction company of the Große Brothers . In March 1912, a building application for "obtaining better front sides" followed. The implementation, for which Alfred Große was responsible, mainly changed the roof.
