Wolf Deinert

Wolf Deinert (born January 9, 1944 in Greifswald ) is a German writer and radio play author.

Life

He studied architecture and German. He then worked as an architect and began writing.

After serving a prison sentence for "attempting to cross the border illegally ", he moved to West Berlin in 1975 , where he worked as a radio play writer for the broadcaster Free Berlin, among other things . In a radio feature produced by Funkhaus Berlin in October 1991 , he takes a critical look at the GDR. “Numerous writers and literary officials like Hermann Kant have their say in the program. In the elections for the district assembly in 2016, he stood for the alternative for Germany in the Berlin district of Tempelhof-Schöneberg . However, he did not get a seat in the district assembly.
