Wolf Tekook

Wolf Tekook (actually Friedrich Wolfgang Tekook ; born August 1, 1951 in Düsseldorf ; pseudonym: WolfTek , additional photo outurist ) is a German artist .

Life

From 1971 to 1977 he studied medicine . In 1977 he received his doctorate as Dr. med., in 1982 he became a specialist in general medicine . He is still active in Krefeld today. Married to Marie Tekook. Two sons, one daughter.

Since 1983 he has been doing digital processing of his own photographs with a focus on photo montage . The main topics are human interactions and the processing of literary topics from antiquity to modern times . One focus is the Holocaust ; Exhibitions in Germany and the USA served as the basis for discussions. Against the background of increasing globalization and its problems, work that has been increasingly critical of time and society has emerged since 2007 and is presented in connection with Attac , among other things .
