Wolfgang Besenböck (born June 26, 1964 in Vienna ) is a former Austrian and German volleyball player .

Career

Wolfgang Besenböck started volleyball at Post SV Vienna in 1977 . In 1981 he moved to local rivals Tyrolia Vienna, where he was four times Austrian champion and three times cup winner. Since 1985 the universal player has played in the German Bundesliga, initially with TSV 1860 Munich and in 1989 moved with the entire team to TSV Milbertshofen , where he won the German Cup in 1990 and German Champion in 1991 . Wolfgang Besenböck ended his successful career in 1994 with ASV Dachau . In his Bundesliga time he appeared regularly in the rankings of German volleyball .

Wolfgang Besenböck was a 100-time Austrian and 20-time German national player .
